I love all things related to teaching and learning. I have a MA in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Thomas University in St. Paul, MN. In addition, I have a BA in Elementary Education and in Psychology from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. I have recently begun work on my Ph.D in Education: Curriculum & Instruction from Liberty University.
Before joining JFCA in 2016 I served schools across the country providing professional development services in all areas of literacy and math. I continue to provide consulting services, but on a much more limited basis.
Prior to consulting I taught at the elementary level in MN (where I am originally from) and NC.
I taught 6th grade English at JFCA for two years where I thoroughly enjoyed sharing my love of the English language with kids.
I accepted Christ as my personal Savior when I was in 3rd grade. I love the Lord and seek to serve Him in all areas of my life. My husband, David, and I are members of JFBC, and I love singing in the choir.
