Wendy Holcomb

Soon to celebrate thirty years of marriage to my wonderful husband, Kyle, whom I met while attending Liberty University. We have been members of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church since 2005. We have two incredible teenage boys with whom the Lord has blessed us. I accepted Christ at the age of nine while attending Vacation Bible School near my precious, rural hometown in Pennsylvania. In August of 2006, I began working within the Childcare Department of JFBC as a teacher, and was later offered the opportunity to be Childcare Supervisor. I began volunteering to serve in the hot lunch program at JFCA in November of 2017. Soon thereafter, in January of 2018, I began to oversee the direction and coordination of the hot lunch program at JFCA. As well, I have been teaching kindergarten for the Timothy Ministry within Johnson Ferry Baptist Church since 2017.

Previous assistant to the financial executive for a 10,000+ member church in the Atlanta area. Former assistant to executives at several major corporations within the Atlanta area including Fran Tarkenton, and former assistant to Dr. Timothy E. Clinton, President of the American Association of Christian Counselors and now Director of the Dr. James Dobson Institute.

My spiritual gifts include service, hospitality, and organization—all of which are used heavily in my current and previous roles. Supervising things such as the school lunch program, the child care ministry, and others is much more than just a job of organization. My roles are also people-centered with emphasis on ministry—making a difference in lives for now and eternity.
