Will Rodgers

BS in Biology from The College of William and Mary in Virginia and a M.Ed. in Teaching and Learning / Leadership from Liberty University.

JFCA since 2014 as Dean of Students.

Prior Board Member for Johnson Ferry Christian Academy with serving the last year as Chairman of the Board. Teaching background includes High School Honors Biology, Gifted Math, Marine Biology in Virginia Beach, and GED Prep for adults to gain High School Equivalency Diploma. Completed coursework for state teaching certificate in Georgia.

Long standing member at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church since 1989 and have been serving as Deacon since 2000. Participated in numerous DNOW events as Host Home and Co-Leader. Previous Sunday Bible Teacher, RA Counselor, and participated in short term mission trips. Currently, serving as a Decision Counselor.

I was raised Catholic and was an Altar Boy and Confirmed. I accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in college and subsequently was baptized when I joined JFBC in 1989.

Married to wife, Pam, since 1981. She was a Special Needs Pre-School Teacher in Cobb County. We have two children; our daughter McCall is married to Josh Garner (both UGA grads) and they have a daughter, Hydee, and a son, Ben. Our son, Rex, is married to Shannon (GT and Agnes Scott grads, respectively) and they have two daughters, Riley & Taryn.

Worked 26 years in Telecom as an Engineer and Technical Manager of Global Accounts. For fun, I obtained my Private Pilot’s License. I also enjoy fishing and hiking the Appalachian Trail.
