ALBANY, Ga. – Michael Maiocco struck out a career-high 15 batters and tossed seven scoreless innings to help Flagler College salvage a doubleheader split with Albany State University on Tuesday at Golden Ram Park. Flagler won the second game 10-0, but Albany State won in walk-off fashion in the first game, 5-4.

When Christopher Gouin, a senior at Johnson Ferry Christian Academy in Marietta, arrives at West Point on June 28 for Reception Day, he’ll be realizing a dream that began when he was nine years old. As a young boy, he was inspired by Stephen Crane’s classic The Red Badge of Courage, as well as the life of a close family friend.

Transformers Win State Championship!

Johnson Ferry Christian Academy’s Transformers Robotics Team won the first-place Champions Award at the Georgia FIRST LEGO® League State Championship held at Georgia Tech on Jan. 31. The Transformers will advance to the FIRST LEGO® League World Festival and FIRST Championship in St. Louis in late April, where 107 other teams from around the world will compete and celebrate engineering, science, and technology in a fun-filled tournament.
