Saints News

JFCA celebrated a school record 4 NCAA Division I signings in 2015!

Jackson Webb (Class of 2015) signed to play college baseball at Georgia Tech. The speedy shortstop recently was drafted by his hometown Atlanta Braves in the 37th round of the 2015 MLB Draft! Jackson was invited by the Braves to a pre-draft workout and clearly made an impression on the organization. It is an exciting time for Jackson, and the Webb family, and JFCA is proud of Jackson and this honor!

Andie Daniell (Class of 2015) signed to play for the women's tennis team at the University of Alabama. As the #1 ranked player in Georgia and 11th nationally, Andie has been a standout player receiving a lot of interest from colleges around the country.

Jesse Pistokache (Class of 2105) signed to play basketball at the University of Richmond. The 6'2" point guard ran the Saints offense with a versatility not often seen in high school players. Jesse is going to be an immediate contributor to the Spiders success next season and has already joined the team while taking summer courses to start his college career.

Sam Schweitz (Class of 2015) signed to play basketball at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. The 6'8" center/power forward, received several awards throughout the 2014-2015 season that led to college coaches eagerly seeking his commitment. Sam is certain to continue to be a leader on his team at UMBC and has already begun courses over the summer to begin practicing with the team.

While these accomplishments are great honors for each of these athletes, those closest to them would attest to the character and academic efforts of each of them. JFCA and Saints Athletics are proud of our Class of 2015!

Playing for the Saints

JFCA offers numerous opportunities for high school athletes to compete for the Saints. With 9 sports and over 20 teams from middle school to high school, all JFCA students are encouraged to compete for the Saints!

An updated website will be launched soon after the start of the new school year. Please bear with us during this transition.

Physicals:  All Saints are required to have a physical that is valid for the entire school year before participating on any teams. Please submit a completed physical form to sandy.delenick@jfca.org prior to tryouts or first official practice date. All physicals need to be valid for the entire school year, regardless of season of participation. Only physicals completed on or after May 1, 2015 will be accepted. A recommended form to be filled out by your doctor can be found below:

Non-JFCA Students:  Certain JFCA teams offer opportunities for home school students and other private school students without sports opportunities to compete for the Saints. To be eligible for competition, a JFCA AES Athlete Application must be completed and submitted prior to joining a team.
